This topic raises the controversial issue of whether it is in the possibility that a manned space travel can be accomplished beyond the moon. Indisputably, many thinks that human race has reached their limit when they made it possible to travel to moon. However, it is not unlikely that a manned space travel will go beyond the moon soon.
First of all, we should acknowledge that one traveling to moon was seen highly unlikely by many. Thanks to scientists and investors who saw the chance to make it happen, today, travelling to moon is not even in the news anymore. Although limited in number, the United States, Russia, China and other few, send their space crew frequently to moon for scientific research. Lately, Tesla company announced that they started accepting applications to send first non-scientist human to moon. This is why it is never unlikely that a manned space travel will be done beyond moon.
Second, research shows that it is within the possibility that a space ship can be designed to go beyond the moon. Indeed, the United States has been investing in such research for a long time now. There are simulations occurred for such travel without facing any major trouble. One problem we might think of about such travel is that training the people for such long journey in space. Although it takes only few days to travel to moon and come back to earth, travelling beyond moon will take longer which means that scientists should be trained physically and mentally to last in space. It is good news that simulations are being done to prepare scientists for such journey. There are already incredible developments in preserving food, water in space for month, it is new that now plants can be grown in space ship. Although there has been no manned travel that exceeds a few months which travel beyond moon requires, it is promising that training take place, research has been done on how survive long in space. Maybe there has more to be done in term of training the crew and the ship, however, research proves that such hardship can be dealt with. Therefore, we can never say that such travel beyond moon is highly unlikely.
Third, like a travel to moon years before it actually occurred, prominent investors and states are now investing millions of dollars to a travel beyond moon. This might be an indicator that they are convinced that such travel is possible, otherwise, they would not waste a fortune on the possibility. Indeed, many tech companies have contributed both financially and scholarly to research and simulations. Tesla took the first step to send its own designed space rocket to space beyond moon months ago. Although it will take long time before we know of the fate of the rocket, since it has survived this long it gives us the hope that it will last long to complete its mission and come back to earth. Even though, the rocket was not manned, if it proves that a space rocket can accomplish such travel it will be a matter of time that scientists will volunteer to be on the second trip beyond the moon. Such success would also encourage other investors to focus more on such trip to make such history. Therefore, we can say that since all hardship have been handled successfully to make a trip beyond moon possible, more funding will be dedicated to it and more scientists will be interested in it.
